A lot of compliance people once viewed PDAs and smart phones with dread. They seemed like a security and compliance nightmare. But you can stand in the way of progress and cool technology for only so long. Business Week reports that more companies are starting to support iPhones. Of course many had already supported the more corporate BlackBerry and Microsoft's Windows Mobile. The iPhone has typically been seen a consumer product, but if the CEO asks if you would like one, what are you going to say? The good news is that Apple has worked hard to make the device more corporate. The iPhone 3.0 will add security and management features expected to make it more attractive to large companies, the article notes.
