When times get tough, employees react in different ways. Some get super productive in hopes of appeasing the layoff gods. Others start cutting corners, like shaving some cash from their expense account.

ABC News offers an interesting piece that makes it clear that a lot of people think such fudging is okay. Some obvious red flags: "Charges to stores like Victoria 's Secret, Home Depot, Best Buy or establishments that have nothing to do with your line of work, such as salons, spas, even stockyards." One guy was caught making plenty of calls to the Psychic Hotline; perhaps he was worried about his job. Seriously folks, you may want to crack down or at least set a proper tone.
