Like other enterprise software companies, Oracle has been forced by the market to offer more compliance-oriented features in its Identity Management suite. The suite basically provides the security features of its Fusion Middleware product line. The latest move: Oracle has purchased Bridgestream for an undisclosed amount. Bridgestream "helps companies figure out who does what within the organization," according to InternetNews. It monitors and facilitates changes in personnel and roles and such. This complements the purchase of Bharosa, who offers fraud prevention and authentication software.
